I called Kinokuniya on Wednesday, and they had informed me they did not have Tiki Bun, and may not have it for the rest of the week. In the case Kinokuniya may not ever get the single/they get the single but run out of copies, I’m wondering how Tenso is, and if it’s easy to use.
I just feel that if I’m going to end up buying the single online (and ultimately the album), I’d like to do so in a way that counts for Oricon. I’m just worried that while the base shipping fare seems fine (470 yen/~$5?), I’ve heard a few complaints that using Tenso is expensive, and I’m worried how the fare will increase if I buy both single and album at the same time.
Autoimmune Disease Acts Like Demonic Possession
Susannah Cahalan started feeling a bit off. Numbness on one side of the body, losing sleep, crying hysterically one minute and laughing the next. She went to get MRIs but they showed nothing. Things were getting a bit more strange.
Her boyfriend told her how at one point while they were watching a show together she started grinding her teeth, moaning, and biting her tongue until she finally passed out. He took her to the hospital and they found out it was a seizure. Her first of many. Things got worse.
She stopped eating, became paranoid and delusional, had more seizures in which blood would spurt out of her mouth. She was hospitalized (one nurse recalls that in the middle of the night while she was getting blood, Susannah sat up straigh and slapped her). Numerous tests were done and the doctors couldn’t figure out what was wrong.
That is until Dr. Souhel Najjar came into the picture. He asked her to draw a clock. When she showed him what she had drawn he knew exactly what was wrong with her. All the numbers were written on the right side of the clock face, and no numbers were on the left side.
She had anti-NMDAR encephalitis. The receptors in the frontal lobe, responsible for cognitive reasoning, and the limbic system, or the emotional center of the brain, are under assault by the immune system. In other words, her body was attacking her brain. Nearly 90% of people that suffer from this go undiagnosed and it is more common in women.
Oh, and she wrote a book about it called
Brain on Fire: My Month of Madness
What the fuck was wrong with men in the 60’s?
advertising is important as it’s the historian’s best resource for identifying the values of an era. but yeah, these were fucked. the 60s was generally as fucked as the 50s. people forget that.
It literally says ‘men are better than women’ in bold type, what the fuck. I knew this was a thing, but that is a lack of subtlety I couldn’t have written into a spoof…
This is the generation that spawned most of our parents… People our parents’ age run Washington. Starting to make sense?
When you look to the past, the struggles of the present become a great deal more clear.
Hey Everyone, just an FYI…. This is not over. This is not exclusive to “our parents generation”
Oh hey look, a Hardee’s ad
These advertisements had to go through layers of people. Someone said, “this is my idea” to a room of people and then sold the idea for money.
shoutout to people working weekends and overnights and overtime, people working in hospitality and retail and food service, who are sacrificing time with their loved ones, so fuckers with weekday desk jobs get to live comfortably with the amenities we provide while simultaneously shitting all over us for not getting “real jobs”
So I guess there wasn’t any justifiable reason to be in a situation where SWAT throws a flashbang grenade into the crib of a sleeping baby after all! SHOCK OF SHOCKS!
The cops previously talked about how “bad they feel” about blowing a hole in a sleeping baby’s face with an explosive. Not bad enough to pay for the baby’s subsequent medical care, though.
"I live in a neighborhood where my husband & I are 1 of the 3 Black families that live here.. Tonight the KKK knocked on our door!!! I was already looking out the window and seen them coming down my driveway. I screamed for my children to come upstairs in my room and into my master bath. . As I seen there faces in fear.. my mind flash back to Malcom X. My oldest understand but not the rest. My husband prides his self on teaching his wife & family self defense when he not home…. My heart was pounding! Palms sweating! Voice weak.. I look at my son.. And my mind drifted to Micheal Brown, Treyvon.Martin, Shawn Bell. WE legal over here.. everything registered! As the knocks kept coming .. I mustard up the voice strength to say just a minute! My body weak.. but my mind strong! I open the door.. Scope on! Beam on! Safety off!!! WHAT CAN I DO FOR YALL!!! Cause you at THE WRONG HOUSE! #FacesPriceless!! I will Protect. My Home, My Children, MY LEGACY!!!"
